Our El Centro Mental Health Clinic

We are located in the largest city in Imperial County, so that we can meet the needs of this growing community. We want you to feel comfortable and safe at Jackson House, and we structure each day of your treatment to improve your quality of life and teach you how to better address your needs.

We provide daily group therapy sessions, peer support groups, and life skills classes. You will also have time each day for individual counseling, exercise, exploring your interests, and reflecting on all you will learn.

Wherever you might be on your recovery journey, our team is here to help you through it. If you are facing an addiction, a mental health condition, or a combination of the two, we have various program options and locations scattered throughout Southern California that can help you find solutions and healing at the level you need.

At Jackson House, you can receive around-the-clock support from residential treatment centers in the Southern California area. We treat mental health crises and mental illnesses that have persisted at our treatment centers.

For those in Southern California who are struggling with addiction, support is available at Jackson House Recovery Centers. This residential treatment option combines holistic and evidence-based healing methods to support your recovery journey. 

If you are in a phase of leaving residential treatment and starting a new routine, West Coast Recovery Centers might be your next step. We have partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and supporting living services available.

Carolina

Director

Carolina has built her career around serving others. She has more than 19 years of experience in clinical and leadership roles serving infants all the way up to adults. Carolina saw the need in her community for more mental health services and programs to support adults, so she decided to do something about it. She graduated with her B.A. in psychology from San Diego State University and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at University of Phoenix. Carolina is happily married with three children. The two activities she enjoys most outside of work are spending time with family and friends and researching community resources that can support her clients’ needs at Jackson House.

Marisol

Behavioral Health

Marisol majored in criminal justice administration and has worked in behavioral health since 2016. She filled many different positions including an ICU Clerk and Psychiatrist Office Manager. Being part of the Jackson House team is important to Marisol. She loves seeing clients succeed in their treatments and being a part of their support system. When it comes to health and wellness, Marisol is a cheerleader. She supports clients in staying committed to their treatments, even when it feels tough. Outside of work, Marisol loves spending time exploring, hiking, and going to the beach with her husband and daughter.

Andrea

Nurse Manager

Andrea is a registered nurse and spent three years of her career caring for patients in the emergency rooms across Imperial County. During this time, she saw many individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders or experiencing acute psychiatric events. Andrea believed there was a better way to help those individuals and, now, she feels she’s found that at Jackson House El Centro. She is excited to help clients struggling with a mental illness develop healthier lifestyle habits and have an easier transition back to their everyday lives. Andrea holds a B.S. in exercise nutrition and an A.S. in nursing from Imperial Valley College. She has completed advanced certifications in crisis intervention prevention and mental health first aid. When Andrea isn’t working, she enjoys bike rides with her family, reading and eating delicious food.

Carolina

Counselor

Carolina is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She joined the Jackson House El Centro team to help clients work through their emotional problems and better manage the issues they face in their everyday lives. Carolina has worked in the mental health field for the past seven years. She is excited to help her clients and their families lead more successful lives. Carolina holds a B.A. in Spanish from San Diego State University and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Phoenix. When Carolina is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones.

Maritza

Transitional Specialist

Maritza understands the importance of community. She started her career in special education helping students and educators. Then, Maritza served as a behavior interventionist for an agency in Imperial County. She worked closely with families and children on their behavior, so they could feel more comfortable in their own communities. She is excited to continue this work with her clients at Jackson House and help them transition back into society after treatment. Maritza graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University and is currently working on becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. When Maritza is not helping her clients, you can often find her with her friends and family.

Jose

Aftercare Specialist

Jose is excited to be part of the Jackson House El Centro team and help clients receive ongoing care once their time in the residential treatment program is complete. He works closely to make sure each client is focusing on their holistic care and developing objectives to help support their recovery. He holds a a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University and is working on his master’s degree in applied behavioral analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Outside of work, Jose enjoys spending time with family and friends.
