At this time, Jackson House Portland is exclusively serving individuals who are currently residing in licensed mental health residential treatment facilities. This specialized focus allows us to provide high-quality, coordinated outpatient behavioral health care to those transitioning toward greater independence. Our compassionate licensed medical professionals have extensive experience treating a range of issues.

In partnership with CareOregon, we are committed to ensuring that behavioral health care is accessible regardless of socioeconomic status. We are also expanding our outpatient care services to the broader Oregon community, with treatment soon available in person at our Northeast Portland location. Jackson House offers three distinct programs located throughout Southern California for addiction and/or mental health recovery. Our compassionate team members at each clinic will help you access the level of care that is best for you.

We have residential treatment centers in the Southern California area with experts available 24/7 to support you through a mental health crisis or persistent mental illness. 

At Jackson House Recovery Centers, we serve the California community with residential addiction treatment services. Through holistic practices and professional support, we guide our clients on the road to recovery.

West Coast Recovery Centers provides intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and supportive living services for those in the San Diego community who have completed residential treatment and would benefit from a transition program.

Megan

Outreach and Admissions Manager

Megan brings over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, honing her skills in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Her extensive background spans various medical specialties, enhancing her expertise and deepening her commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. She completed her high school education on the Oregon coast and attended Oregon State University.

Drawn to Jackson House by its commitment to compassion and support, Megan aligns her passion for helping others with the facility's mission of assisting individuals on their journey to recovery.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her culinary skills and is always eager to try new recipes. Megan loves taking her dog hiking and to the beach, relishing any opportunity to be out in nature with her furry friend. She also cherishes spending time with friends, whether sharing a meal or simply hanging out. Additionally, she enjoys adding to her plant collection and watching her indoor jungle thrive.

Jayme

Office Manager

Jayme brings valuable experience in administrative roles within healthcare settings, including assisted living, retirement, and skilled nursing homes. She has previously worked as an activities director and administrative assistant.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon and is passionate about applying her knowledge and skills to help foster compassionate care.

Jayme was drawn to Jackson House due to the team’s unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care. She feels grateful to be part of an organization that is aligned with her values and mission of supporting those in need.

Outside of work, Jayme enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and watching her favorite comfort TV shows and movies. She is also an avid concert-goer and a dedicated collector of physical media, including books, DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records.

Jim

LMFT, President of Operations, Pacific Northwest

Jim Sechrist has been a mental health leader in Oregon for 20 years, overseeing the operations of residential treatment facilities, both locked and unlocked, throughout the state. His previous experience includes state-wide operational oversight of nine locked acute and subacute settings throughout Washington. His community-based experience includes oversight of fidelity ACT and PACT teams, as well as intensive case management programs. Additionally, Jim serves as a board member for the Oregon Council on Behavioral Health.

Jim holds a B.A. with Honors in Sociology from U.C. Santa Cruz and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. He is a licensed LMFT in California and Oregon and holds a QMHP certification in Oregon.

Jim chose to work at Jackson House to improve access to quality mental health care in Oregon. He appreciates Jackson House's commitment to investing in communities by building and operating much-needed services.

Outside of work, Jim volunteers with the Mount Saint Helens Institute as a Hiking Steward, engaging visitors on the trails about the volcano. He is an avid runner who loves participating in local races with his daughter and enjoys playing video games.

Jim states:

"Everyone is recovering from something, and seeking help in any form is an important part of the recovery journey. Sometimes, we need someone to hold hope for us until we are ready to take it back. Our goal is that clients leave our programs with more hope, a clearer path forward, and the tools to follow that path."

Jordan

QMHA-I Case Manager

Jordan brings a strong background in mental health care, having worked in a secure facility where she provided trauma-informed, person-centered care to individuals undergoing court-ordered mental health evaluations to determine their ability to stand trial.

Jordan earned a B.S. in Psychology with a focus on Political Science from the University of Oregon, where she explored the intersection of psychology and politics. She is QMHA-I and Mental Health First-Aid certified.

Jordan joined Jackson House with a deep passion for supporting individuals in need within an outpatient setting. She is committed to helping clients navigate their mental health journeys with compassion and understanding.

In her free time, Jordan enjoys exploring the city, spending time in nature, creating ceramics, reading, and sharing quality moments with her loved ones—especially her cherished cat.
