Nicole | Program Director
Nicole has been an LMFT since 2016 and received her master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University and her BA in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
Nicole has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. She has worked in residential, PHP, and IOP programs for both adolescents and adults. She also has experience in ABA therapy with children, providing individual therapy to those living in groups homes and board and care facilities.
She joined the Jackson House team to be able to provide more services to individuals suffering from mental health problems and service her community. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as playing in slow pitch tournaments and leagues.
“We are here to serve the clients and meet them where they are. Everyone has a unique story and comes to us in a time of need, and we want to provide a safe space for them to receive treatment.”

Marissa | Counselor
Marissa is a registered Clinical Social Worker who completed her undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and received her master’s degree in Social Work from California State University Long Beach with an emphasis on Child Welfare. Marissa has worked in the mental health field for the past 6 years. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
She joined the team at Jackson House Santa Paula because she has a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential by enhancing their self-esteem and resiliency and increasing motivation to achieve their personal goals. When Marissa is not at work, you will find her spending time and having fun with friends and family, reading a good book, or working out.

Erika | Transition Specialist
Erika has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years. She has a master's in Health Psychology from Grand Canyon University, her ABA from Arizona State University and her bachelor's in Anthropology from University of California. She also holds certifications in PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) and CPRT (Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching).
Erika has worked with children, adolescents and adults at different levels of intellectual/developmental, emotional, psychological, and social challenges, and she also has experience working with person-center training and utilizing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in residential programs.
Outside of work, you can find Erika spending time with her family and friends, especially with her Aussiedoodle, Alfie. She also enjoys hiking, watching documentaries, dancing (she can moonwalk), traveling and trying new foods.

Nancy | Office Manager
Nancy has 7 years of experience working in the mental health field serving Ventura County. Nancy has provided services for both inpatient and outpatient treatment. She has experience working with the medical and commercial insurance population. Nancy joined Jackson House Santa Paula to provide her expertise in the mental health field and is excited to expand her professional knowledge.
Nancy’s patience and willingness to help clients in the community with their recovery journey will help our clients feel welcomed forming a positive atmosphere. Her goal is to help individuals in their short-term recovery journey at Jackson House. When Nancy is not at work, she enjoys going to the beach to watch the sunset, spending time with family and friends as well traveling.

Kristen | Counselor
Kristen is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at California State University Channel Islands and earned her master’s degree in Social Work, with an emphasis on Child Welfare, from California State University Long Beach. Kristen has worked in the mental health field for over 13 years, with the majority of her experience in residential settings, working with individuals with serious and persistent mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders.
She joined the team at Jackson House Santa Paula to continue to hone her clinical skills and provide support, compassion, and the highest level of care to vulnerable individuals. In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and son, loves all things DIY, and makes “the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted,” according to a self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookie lover.

Sierra | MHT Lead
Sierra has worked in the mental health field for two years. Sierra graduated with her BA in Criminal Justice from Azusa Pacific University. Sierra has experience working with children and adolescents in residential treatment.
Sierra joined the Jackson House team to provide support to adults and to continue to get experience with a different population in the mental health field.
Outside of work, Sierra is a full-time dog mom and loves to hang out with family and friends.
