We built Jackson House because we realized there was a critical gap in our healthcare system and many individuals with mental illnesses and substance abuse problems were struggling because of it. While there are many outpatient treatment options and locked, inpatient facilities there was nothing in the middle. Nothing to help people who needed around the clock care but wanted to receive treatment voluntarily, on their own terms. Jackson House is different. We provide clients with the level of care they need in a welcoming environment. When you walk through our doors, we will meet you wherever you’re at and help you on your journey toward feeling better.

Mental Health Care from Jackson House
Deciding where to seek mental health treatment is one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make. Our programs at Jackson House aim to provide care to clients facing mental health challenges. Here, we approach treatment through evidence-based practices and a personalized treatment plan for each client.
Beyond our structured mental health programs, we offer the support of caring, highly trained professionals who oversee every stage of care. You’ll work with experienced and skilled healthcare providers to help you during treatment.
Choosing Jackson House to address your mental health needs means receiving compassionate care from a qualified team dedicated to helping clients on their mental wellness journeys.
Our Approach to Admissions
At the core of our admissions approach is compassion and a commitment to putting people first. During this stage, we focus on involving loved ones early and are dedicated to being transparent about treatment plans, fit, and costs.
The Admissions Process
Our admissions process guides you through each step of the way. Here is a breakdown of the steps and what you can expect.
The Initial Call and Gathering Information
The first step in the admissions process is an initial phone call, whether made by yourself, a loved one, or a mental health professional. In this stage of admissions, our team will gather details and basic information about the challenges you’re currently facing, and we will invite your loved ones to share their perspectives and involvement preferences.
Identifying Need and Verifying Insurance
During the next step in the admissions process, our team will take the time to get to know you and better understand your mental health needs. We will discuss your mental health history, and, if applicable, we will review any additional information from your doctor.
At this point, we will review your health insurance and discuss your options for mental health treatment. We will verify your insurance benefits and explain any out-of-pocket costs that may be applicable to your care. If you don’t have health insurance, we will review available payment options for your treatment. Our goal is to provide transparency so there are no unexpected costs during your stay at Jackson House.
Determining Fit and Scheduling Program Start
After our team reviews your information, we’ll determine whether Jackson House is a good fit for your mental health needs. If so, you will be contacted about a time for you to start your treatment program. If Jackson House is deemed not the right fit for your needs, we will share other local mental health treatment options and support you in finding the right care.
Welcome to the Center
Upon your arrival at Jackson House, the first thing you will do is complete the required forms and meet with one of our caring nurses. After completing your paperwork, we will walk you through the facility, introduce you to other clients, and address questions you may have. We will show you to your room and help you get settled in. If a loved one is with you, we invite them to stay and help you unpack. After you’ve settled in, treatment starts right away.
Insurance and Payment Options
Connect with a member of our team to discuss insurance and payment options. Our team can walk you through what coverage you may already have, explain costs, and help you explore flexible payment options that fit your situation. Whether you’re unsure where to start or want to review your choices, we’re here to make the process straightforward and supportive.
Insurance plans we accept include:
- Aetna
- Beacon/Value
- Blue Cross/Anthem
