Fentanyl Awareness Day interview: Dr. Bruce Figuered and Good Morning San Diego
In March alone, over 5,000 pounds of illegal fentanyl have been seized by state and local authorities in California. This epidemic means that more Californians are in need of treatment, including addressing the possible mental health issues that may be present with addiction. Jackson House CEO Dr. Bruce Figuered talks with Allie Wagner of Good Morning San Diego about the importance of treatment facilities that are equipped to address both addiction and mental health, ensuring that we find and heal the roots of addiction. Dr. Figuered's goal is to remove the barriers to getting the help that is needed, including ending the stigma associated with reaching out or getting treatment. Watch his full interview for more information, including support for friends and family members.
