Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

A talk therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is for helping individuals recognize negative thought patterns and actions that impact self-perception. This therapeutic approach is offered to support the development of coping skills and thought improvement.

Based on CBT, this approach is for helping individuals accept difficult feelings and make positive decisions. Integrated into this therapy is skill-building for mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal communication.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

A mental illness such as depression is sometimes accompanied by a substance use disorder. This combination is referred to as a co-occurring condition or dual diagnosis.

Our team offers dual diagnosis treatment, offering care for the mental illness and substance use disorder at the same time. Jackson House El Centro and other Jackson House locations offering mental health treatment are connected to Jackson House Addiction Recovery Centers in San Diego, a substance addiction treatment provider. In treating dual diagnosis, care is provided at a Jackson House facility such as the El Centro location or the Jackson House Addiction Recovery Centers.
