Caring for Our Veterans

Jackson House is proud to offer services to the men and women who have served our country. Today, many veterans find themselves living with PTSD, depression, and other mental health conditions. In fact, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, veterans are at a higher risk of developing mental health issues. Mental illness of any scale can feel isolating and make the transition to civilian life all the more difficult. Our team is here to help. We stand by veterans to provide them with the treatment, tools, and support they need to live their best life. We are also actively working to remove barriers that have historically made it more difficult for veterans to seek the care they need.

Jackson House is proud to be one of the first in-network residential mental health providers for TriWest in collaboration with the Veterans Administration.

What Does Our Care Look Like?

The trauma of combat, stress of being away from loved ones and pressure of keeping those around you safe can easily take a toll on the mental health of veterans. In the context of these stressors, many Veterans experience bouts of depression and substance abuse. Even with a strong support system and counseling, sometimes a greater level of support is needed. That is where Jackson House comes in.

Jackson House provides veterans with around the clock care in a welcoming environment. Our program allows individuals to receive treatment on their own terms and is built using only evidence-based therapies. No treatment plan is alike. Our program is customized for each patient, so we can help each individual face their unique challenges.

While treatment at Jackson House looks different for each person, everyone participates in individual therapy and group therapy programs. Additionally, each client has the opportunity to consult with a physician upon admission and on a weekly basis thereafter. This combination allows our clients to get the personalized attention they need and build connections and a network of support from their peers.

You can learn more about our treatment philosophy and what sets us apart on our treatment page.

Take the Next Step

Sadly, only half of veterans who need mental health treatment ever receive it, according to new research. At Jackson House, we understand asking for help can be the most difficult part of seeking treatment for veterans. We will do our best to make the process as easy as possible.
